Less than one week after turning 17, Kenny Lipke becomes Clear Air's youngest student to earn his pilot's license. Flying for nearly 3 years prior to the checkride, Kenny had no problem breezing through all three tests. 17 is the minimum age that the FAA allows a person to have a pilot license.

A 98% score on his knowledge test, a very quick verbal test with the examiner and an hour of flying is all it took for Kenny to complete his goal. Pictured at right, Kenny stands with his proud father after taking him and his uncle up as his first passengers.
